RAVEN Performance Inc. was established in 1999 by John Dimoff and Steve Gailits. Located in a 6,000 square foot shop in Markham Ontario (just a few minutes north of Toronto, Canada), RAVEN specializes in BMW service, modification and motorsport.
In addition, we offer advanced driver training, instructor training and coaching for racers. Basically, we can build you the car of your dreams and then teach you how to get the most out of it.
Steve Gailits is a factory trained BMW mechanic with over 30 years of experience and runs #288, a C-Mod S54 powered E21 320i. He is also one of the current Chief Instructors for the Trillium Chapter of the BMW Club of Canada. John Dimoff is also a Chief Instructor for Trillium, but his specific responsibility is Instructor Training and the Street Survival School. John races #299, an E36 M3 Widebody C-Mod race car powered by a Stage II S54.
Back in the shop, Steve Barnett is our master fabricator and welder extraordinaire. RAVEN chassis are known throughout BMWCCA Club and CASC Regional racing for their design, strength, light weight, and superb craftmanship. Much of what people see when they look at a RAVEN race car is the result of Steve's skill and workmanship. Marshall Papadopoulos is our newest staff member and is a mechanic and 'fabricator in training'. You can expect to see Marshall racing his E30 D-Mod race car at BMWCCA Club races in the near future.
RAVEN cars can be found at the front of the pack in BMW Club Races, CASC Regional Races, Advanced Driving Schools and lapping days. RAVEN C-Mod race cars took the BMWCCA North American Championship in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 and have been on the podium ever since.
